This semester my classmate and I went to Foxdale Village with our teacher Ruth. It was a great experience to me to meet and interview an American woman. I thought it would be difficult to talk with senior people whose native language is not the language you have as a mother tongue. In fact, I felt so happy when I talked to the woman I had interviewed whose name is Bube. We spent the time asking each other about everything in our life. I am glad to meet woman how understand the new generation life style. I hope every student who is going to go to Foxdale village or trip to similar center to get the advantages of being in America and speaking with native speaker. There I asked Bube many questions and we spent a lot of time talking about international students.
In 1940 when Bube went to special college that teach only religion for that reason she did not meet international student from Middle East. Although she met a lot of international students like her husband who is from German, she did not meet anyone Arabic or from Asia. She says," I did not meet Arabic people until I moved to State College 10 years ago" (Bube). When she moved to Foxdale Village, she started to meet many students who are from different country.
According to Deb Haught there were 11,000 students in University Park in in 1969 and 453 of 11,000 students were international. On the other hand, these days there are more than 600 Saudi students according to Saudi association.  It was a hard job looking for Arabic club in the past a few Decades. According to year book for 1983 there was as Arabic club in Penn State University and the responsible of that club was Hashem Abdullah, but now every Arabic country has its own club.

Happier ( last part )

The last part I read in the book " Happier " was about goals and dreams. dreams is something we have to set goals to achieve our dreams. In order to be happy, we should have goal for every single day. we shouldn't repeat our days. we should change our routine.

Foxdale

When I was In level 3 in The IECP, my classmate and  I went to kindergarten with my teacher Ruth. It was a good experience to know how American teach their children. Although we have some difficulty to deal with children, we enjoyed meeting them. This week on Monday we went to Foxdale village with  the same teacher. It was a great experience  to me to meet and interview an American woman. I thought it would be difficult to talk with senior people whose native language is not the language you have as a mother tongue. In fact, I felt so happy when I talked to the woman I had interviewed whose name is Bube. We spent the time asking each other about every thing in our life.
